Your Research To start your research in Northern Ireland you will need the following: Name of your ancestor who was born in Ireland Place of origin - This is the most important piece of information. The name of a townland, village or town will greatly increase your chances of tracing a particular ancestor. Date – a rough date as to when your ancestor lived in the particular townland, village or town.

Research Options are: Exploratory: 4 hours archival research of Irish civil birth, death and marriage records,, census material and wills and testamentary records. £110 Comprehensive: 10 hours dedicated archival research of the civil and census material, parish records, land and tithe records, landed estate records, graveyard records and wills and testamentary records. £ 220 Hourly rate If you prefer we can charge at an hourly rate of £23 per hour.
